Friday Oct 11, Caldas del Reis to Padrón
“Apartamento
Bralo”
Two more days to go.
I looooove Padrones. These are the mini green, fried peppers with salt that are delicious and every time I saw them on the menu, I took advantage of ordering as you don’t see those too often on the menu . So now we are walking in Padrón and I was already looking forward to seeing them grow in this area and having them for dinner. Well probably it was not the season for harvesting, but they told me that indeed they are originally and grown there.

Entering the city, we were once indicated to take a left turn around the city, but I took a straight line, through the city to avoid some additional miles, maybe not a too smart decision as there was no room for pedestrians. Anyway, I arrived close to our next stay at the same time Maria joined me, as she had followed the arrows indicating the Camino.
We were booked at apartment Bralo, in a private apartment building. As the main entrance was locked, our backpacks had to be delivered to a different location and that was an Albergue at 450 m. distance. So again, we went to pick up our “mochillas" and had to drop those off the following morning before 8 am.
We had lunch not too far away and we spent the afternoon at home. Later that day we went to the store opposite our apartment and bought there 3 mini-Picolo’s, some peanuts and chips.
The following day we went to drop off our backpack again before 8 am and started our last day, up to Santiago!!!
